Equipped with Aluminium Offshore’s 21m octagonal XE Enhanced Safety™ helideck for the landings and take-offs of Sikorsky S92A helicopters and coupled with a standalone green water-only DIFFS for a Normally Unmanned Installation (NUI), Timi will be Shell’s first wellhead platform in Malaysia to be powered by a hybrid solar-wind renewable power system, in line with its target to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
Timi has been a challenging project for both Brooke Dockyard and Howard Allson LTD as the overall project completion must be achieved within a tight 12 weeks.
It has been an exciting cooperation between Aluminium and Brooke, and we look forward to many more challenging opportunities with Shell and Brooke in the near future.
