XE Enhanced Safety™ Helidecks

The most critical moments of helicopter operation are during landing and takeoff. An accident at either of these stages can result in hundreds of gallons of jet-fuel spilling from ruptured fuel tanks in the belly of the aircraft.

XD Standard Helidecks

Our XD Standard helideck is an all-aluminium helideck with all the features of the XE Enhanced Safety helideck but without its passive fire suppression system. The top surface of this helideck is flat and non-perforated and incorporates a non-slip pattern which is etched and milled into the decking. The decks are fully pre-fabricated and shipped in containers to you for local assembly under our supervision.

Helideck Support Structure

Carrying forward the advantages of using an aluminium helideck, an aluminium support frame becomes a logical next step. We design and build these frames and support structures and then pre-fabricate and trial fit them at our factory. They are then packed in containers and shipped to you in knocked down form. Re-assembly requires fasteners only and is an extremely quick process. A typical support frame for a 22m deck requires just 1 week for assembly. In contrast, a steel support frame requires between 8 to 12 weeks for fabrication, blasting and painting. No painting is required for an aluminium support frame.

Timber Refit Decking System (TRDS) for Helidecks

Old timber helidecks: there are numerous timber decked helidecks all around the world and most of them built in the 1960s and 70s are reaching the end of their useful lives. In many cases, the steel support frames which support the timber decking is still in serviceable condition and only the timber needs to be changed out.

Helideck Fire Fighting

We provide full helideck fire fighting and safety equipment in accordance with Civil Aviation and related Codes including foam monitors, complementary media and rescue equipment.

Helideck Lighting Systems

CAA authorities around the world require helidecks and helipads to be lit for night use. Sometimes, lights are switched on even during daytime for better visual cues, especially when the sky is overcast.

The QUICKLOCK™ Aluminium Handrail and Walkway System

One of the most time and cost consuming areas in any offshore structure in terms of design, fabrication and maintenance must be the walkways and handrailings. These are traditionally built in carbon steel, need intricate welding and detailing and then continual maintenance for their lifetime. Doesn’t have to be this way….
